When the first digital release, Dirty Sky, by the promising netlabel 33 Recordings, has barely turns 23 years old, and do not hesitate to use the long frenzied monologue of an old man in his bed suffering from the great Magnolia Paul-Thomas Anderson in a sensual iced 10min, with friezed ambient tunes (Old Mans Regrets), then surely we are not dealing with an ordinary case of musician that simply experimenting with some house music programs not having anything better to do. In contrast, the 24 year old now Dimitris Sakkas, aka Memphidos, clearly demonstrates both the first movement, as the recent second The Sun In Our Souls to have inexhaustible inspiration and vision.
As a graphic designer, helps create strong images that the soundscapes he comes to make himself and the listener to escape from reality and to travel. One of the rare musical talents who does not hesitate to offer free of ‘exact’ creations through downloading, at the same time other artists sell their threepenny productions for 14 and 15 euro.

‘’Όταν στην πρώτη του ψηφιακή κυκλοφορία, Dirty Sky, από το ελπιδοφόρο netlabel 33 Recordings, δεν έχει καλά- καλά κλείσει τα 23 του χρόνια, και δεν διστάζει να χρησιμοποιήσει τον μακροσκελή παραληρηματικό μονόλογο ενός γέρου που σιγοσβήνει στο κρεβάτι του πόνου από την εξαιρετική Magnolia του Paul- Thomas Anderson σʼ ένα αισθαντικό παγωμένο 10λεπτο, φορτωμένο από παγωμένες, ambient μελωδίες (Old Mans Regrets), τότε σίγουρα δεν έχουμε να κάνουμε με μία συνηθισμένη περίπτωση μουσικού που απλώς πειραματίζεται με κάποια μουσικά προγράμματα σπίτι του μην έχοντας τίποτα καλύτερο να κάνει. Απεναντίας, ο 24χρονος πλέον Δημήτρης Σακκάς, aka Memphidos, αποδεικνύει περίτρανα τόσο με την πρώτη του κυκλοφορία, όσο με την πρόσφατη δεύτερη The Sun In Our Souls ότι διαθέτει αστείρευτη έμπνευση αλλά και όραμα.
Σαν γραφίστας, φροντίζει να δημιουργεί έντονες εικόνες με τα ηχοτόπια που σκαρώνει με στόχο να κάνουν τον ίδιο και τον ακροατή νʼ αποδράσουν από την πραγματικότητα και να ταξιδέψουν. Ένα από τα σπάνια μουσικά ταλέντα που δεν διστάζει να προσφέρει δωρεάν τις «ακριβές» του δημιουργίες μέσω downloading, την ίδια στιγμή που ουκ ολίγοι ομοϊδεάτες του «χρεώνουν» φτηνιάρικες προσπάθειες 14-15 γιούρος! ‘’
